I had the same thing happen to me, plus I had a stricture. I had four EGD over 3 months to stretch out my esophagus. I am doing better now. Felt like I wanted to just end my life for a while there. I hated my decision to have the surgery. Now I eat small amounts and am doing better. Prilosec, carafate and reglan are my regulars. It will get better. Hang in there. My surgery was in Sept 2017. -
I found out I have MS just two weeks post-op. Stay strong.

I had the same surgery date 9/19. I am struggling with, what the surgeon says, could be a stricture. Even drinking water hurts my chest. Cannot do anything about it until 6 weeks post-op. Miserable. I have lost 26 lbs. woo hoo!

Surgery was 9/19. 10 days down. Still struggling on liquids, I think I experienced dumping today for the first time. Heaving and stuff but nothing to dump. I took a tiny sip of V8, guess my body does not like it anymore. -
My parents were visiting when I was in my first week post-op, the air fryer was a big topic of conversation. We are from the south and love frying foods, so I was surprised to hear they cook nearly everything in a Big Boss Air Fryer. They love it, delicious food, quick easy cleaning. I am going to buy one off of Amazon here soon. Still on week 2 post-op, but looking ahead.

5 days post-op. Still hurt, but doing great. Wearing jammies still. First day in the real world tomorrow. -
I am on day 4 post-op. Still hurts to laugh on one side mainly. I did not expect so much pain and discomfort. I am still drinking little sips of things. I took pain meds to help sleep last night and feel like crap today. It's lingering in my system. I am pretty sure I made the right choice, though.
