So is mine.

When do you start your pre op diet. I have endoscopy on July 20th.

My Dr has not started me on any pre op diet.🤔 I don't see him until the endoscopy.

Sitting in the surgical suite, surgery in 2 hours. Still unsure if I'm doing the right thing. Is this normal? Too late now I guess....

Have a great surgery and a speedy recovery.:)

With my surgery a little over 3 weeks out I seriously feel for all you guys on liquid diets. I've added Protein Shakes to mine, as well as BCAAs but that was at my discretion and in addition to my normal diet. Stay strong everyone! Remember, vodka has no carbs! [emoji6]

I was sleeved 4 days ago. At the recovery room I was in and out but they let my parents see me and everything I remember saying is that it was hot lol... My incisions barely hurts, I do get chest pain from time to time so I take 20mg of Pepcid complete twice a day and for the gases I take Gas-X which has been very helpful...

This is my second day at home and I am under liquids, I have to make sure I drink 60-80 gram of Protein and take my vitamins... My appetite went away so I can see my family eating and I'm not craving to eat the same...

Congratulations I just got mine too. July 14th... I'm on the pre on diet and trying to fight through the hunger. Why are you on liquid so soon? They have me on 1 high Protein but 400-500 calorie meal and replacing 2 meals with Protein Shake.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
