So Easter was my first holiday with my new tummy. It wasn't too bad, really wanted a piece of chocolate just to taste but I said no! How was everyone's holiday ?

Easter Sunday! I did really well also, that was my first holiday after being sleeve Feb 20,17 I am proud of myself! Plus I did all the cooking! I only ate 1 bake chicken wing a tablespoon on fresh green Beans and after an hour or two I ate 12 boiled crawfish which was only 29 calories and 6grams of protein! I weigh this morning and my weight is the same still down 35lbs ! I didn't eat one price of chocolate candy! I can pat myself on the back[emoji3]

Easter was way easier than I thought it would be. I made my family's favorites and took all to my son's house. While there I enjoyed a small spicy meatball when all were snacking on apps and while every one ate dinner, I played with my granddaughter. Later, I had 2 to 3 ounces of ham, while helping clean up. I was sleeved on 2/23/17. I'm a bit disappointed in weight loss so far...23 since surgery date but know as long as I stick to plan, it will come off. I'm 61 years...its not going to be quick but it will happen[emoji5]

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
