I am just one month post-op and today for the first time I ate too fast and maybe a little too much... I am so uncomfortable, really uncomfortable. Has this happened to anyone else? I was having a conversation while eating and I guess I wasn't paying attention. I guess I just have to ride it out... but it is a good lesson to be more mindful.

Yup. First day after I was allowed to eat solids. Was watching a very 'nervy ' Arsenal game. Needless to say, the pain was a lasting reminder about paying attention while eating.

I have not ever vomited since my sleeve and I hope I won't now either.... Just going to relax until I feel better. Oh my, a lesson learned

The same thing happened to me a few days ago. Definitely made me start paying more attention to how fast/slow I'm eating. The good news is, that pain shouldn't last too long. I laid down on the couch for a few minutes and was fine.

Eating fast is just not good at all. I too experienced severe pain for fast. It's a lesson learned. Don't do it again you just need to be focused when eating trust me

I have vomited a few times. It is really not pleasant but I do think it is easier than dealing with the pain. That pain is just horrible!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
