Ok, give it a good cry! Then take yourself down to the salon and get a new cut that will help. A wig is always an option too. At least you know it should come back.

I am 4 months out also, and down 70 pounds.... the hair loss is real. I hate washing my hair. I have thought about cutting it short, but haven't done it yet. I go back and forth about it. I totally understand how you are feeling...

Me too. Feel your pain. As of yesterday 4 months since surgery. hair coming out in handfuls. Getting married in a week Saturday hoping it holds that long. After I don't even care. I don't like short hair on me but may chop it off. I can't stand hair floating around.

I've had that too since my surgery in September. I bought some Nioxin Shampoo, conditioner, and scalp treatment. It has slowed down the loss. I also take Biotin and only wash every 3 days to control the loss. I'm really thin in the back of my head but I still have some that I can do a comb over

I worry about this, too. I am 11 days post-op, so not having this issue right now, but I am getting married when I will be 5 months post-op. I'm guessing that will be right in the middle of the hair loss phase. :/

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
