Feb 9th Sleeve - Friend or Mentor Needed

Recommended Posts

Looking for a friend or mentor to lean on during this process. Sleeve scheduled for Feb 9th 2017.

41, married, 3 boys 17,15&3, 5'5", 235, Atlanta area, LIBERAL-just putting it out there. ;-)

That is me and my sister this Christmas on the slopes in WV. She's around 115 and says things like..."you're not fat, you're beautiful." I am beautiful but I'm sick of being fat.

PM me!

I had surgery 5 months ago - I'm a single mom of a 16 year old son. I'm more than happy to answer questions or just be here for support! Best decision ever!

Good morning from the loser's bench. Today is the 3rd post-op day for me. First day I bombed at getting the minimum amount of fluids and protien (33oz Fluid and 11 oz protien). Yesterday I reached my goals.

Good job ladies. I am 4 days post op and haven't been able to get much down. Yesterday I believe I got 20 ounces of crystal light down due to stomach spasms. Today, I am doing much better. I have gotten down 2 popsicles and 5 ounces of Protein. We Got This!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
