Finally out of the three's!

Recommended Posts

Its finally happened! On day 2 of my "in sympathy" pre op liquid diet, I have officially left the three's for the first time in 7 years.

I am firmly cemented in the twos at 297! Woot!

So excited for you! I started at 290, so my first big benchmark was 250. I hadn't seen 250 before I had kids and my eldest is almost 13. I'm hanging in for One-derland and seeing amazing milestones like yours, just keeps my eye on the prize.

Thank you for sharing.

And I am wearing size 18 jeans! I grabbed them out of the closet along with a pair of 20s (I've been in 22-24s for the last 3 months) and tried them on on a whim. I figured that the 18s would be a no go but they fit like a glove!

Congratulations! I know that feels good! The day of my 2 week pre-op diet I weighed 312 and I remember how thrilled I was after surgery when I fell below 300! It was awesome!

Keep up the fantastic work! :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
