1 month post op!

Recommended Posts

So my journey started this past March and I was at my highest weight of 315. I was sleeved on 12/14/16, and I weighed 298 at that point. This morning I weighed 268.4! Down 29.4 pounds in a month! I am thrilled, but more importantly, I was able to do without a belt extender on my recent flight. I am wearing clothes from my closet that were too tight before, and I have a ton more energy. I am so glad that I made the decision to have the surgery.

Awesome! That's so exciting!

I was sleeved on December 13, 2016.

252 on the day of surgery and I'm 221 as of last Tuesday, total of 31 pounds down!

Are you still eating soft food?

Hi RockDaisy,

I am still on the soft food stage, but I see my NUT on Wednesday & I'm hoping to move to the next phase.

Congrats on your weight-loss!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
