Corn chips and crackers

Recommended Posts

Corn chips may be a trigger food. I would pass them up.

I am allowed crunchy food now. I found some lentil crackers at home goods and was able to eat a couple and stop. But if I tried corn chips that would just lead to other bad choices.

I need some carbs or I feel foggy and fatigued. I try for good carbs though.

Like I tell my 17 year old daughter when she leaves the house. " make good choices"

Good luck in your choices may they be good ones!

I have actually tried dehydrated cucumber slices. If you have a dehydrator, slice the cucumbers in about 1/8 inch rounds and put them in. When they are done, they have the crunch you are looking for, and they are far better for you than chips or crackers. That's the thing with these cravings, most of the time it's for something we shouldn't be eating. I have found that if you are creative, you can usually find some alternative and healthier. It's all about our choices. Sometimes we do slip, but this is also a learning process. A lot of us are so used to eating whatever we want and however much we want of it. This is a whole new world, and we are in this together!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
