So today was my first day back to work (I am a server/bartender) and about three hours into my shift I felt horrendous...

Had my sleeve done 10/28

My diet consists of 2 Protein shakes and a Greek yogurt and sometimes a sugar free snack at night. Today I brought my yogurt to work with me.

In the past, I'd keep myself running by taking sips of soda here and there and now that I'm doing only Water I feel like I just worked out to the point I'm going to throw up!

I feel dizzy and light headed. Anybody experience this? Anybody have some advice?

Thanks!

-Chris

I would say that you are not getting enough food or nutrition to keep up with being on your feet so much. Your body is still healing. What stage are you in on your plan? There needs to be food/puree/liquids added to your daily grind.

You are probably burning off much more then you are taking in. I know it is hard to get more in, but do what you can. You may end up having to take more time off work.

My doctor say we don't feel tired because of the low caloric intake, we are tired because we are still healing from major surgery. As long as you are meeting Water and Protein goals, and taking Vitamins, I don't know what else you could do. Most people go back to a desk job it seems. I am 2 weeks out today and needed a nap this afternoon (busy weekend) but then I am older than most of you guys.

I am 2 months out and when I'm at work and forget to eat it's like as soon as 2 bites kick in, I see the haze lift. The scary part is I often don't realize the haze was there in the first place.

Hate to hear it..I took 3 weeks off to try n do a little more every week to be ready to move around at work..work in doctor's office and patients all day..so I try to get up like I would for work n stay up n a little moving..rest..a little more everyday.. Make to add multivitams n possibly more shake than Water..even tho Water is liquid but also that shake..best of luck because I feel you on getting back to work..bills don't stop coming????☺

I have felt faint. It happened on a day where I skipped my afternoon snack because I was busy at work. I was commuting home by transit and had to call my husband to come pick me up. I learned my lesson. My calorie intake is too low to skip anything. Now I make sure I'm getting my 3 meals and 2 Snacks in no matter what.

Most important I found in the early days was my Vitamins.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
