I am 2 weeks post-op and wondering if and when you are able to take pills larger than baby aspirin.

You need to ask your surgeon as everyone is different. I took pills the day after surgery with no issues. My BP pill was quite large.

Yeah. I have my follow up on the 8th. But call to check in and move up on my diet tomorrow!

My surgery said to start taking pills normally the day of my surgery. It took about four days to feel that I could but haven't had any issues.

I was told nothing bigger than a baby aspirin but wasn't given a duration. And I haven't been taking my Migraine meds because of it

My surgeon's office cleared me for pill-form Vitamins after week four. They did suggest that I break the bigger ones in half for a couple more weeks, but I'm six weeks out and taking a full-size Centrum every morning, no problem. Thank goodness too, because the Bariatric Advantage chewables I had were making me gag.

I have caltrate gummies along with B12 and calcium/d3

I waited for a couple of week, but as far as Vitamin tablets went, I stuck to chewables for 4 months as I had a bad reaction to the tablet ones. I was very sick after getting it stuck so wanted to err on the side of caution. It wasn't a hardship.
