jhawaiianhny, I was in Maui a few weeks ago for our ten anniversary! I too am Nov 1! I packed lip balm, toiletries, charger, slippers, comfortable clothes to go home in and gasx strips should they let me have them( everyone was recommending me pack some)

Looks like Nov for me too. Waiting the "ok" from my insurance. Because of all my co-morbidities, general consensus is that I'll be approved.

I'm going in tomorrow!!! Happy Halloween!

My surgery was moved up to the 21st. Must loose the weight by the 15th of nov that's my pre op. I don't have a "liquid diet" but I've been doing a modified version of a VLCD to loose the last 10+ pounds. Just looked it up on line and I've lost 7.6 lbs in 4 days. While working in Er. So it's possible. Not nice but possible. Good luck everyone. I have to loose 3.3 more then keep it off till the 15 and on the 21st.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
