15 months post-op - I have a personal trainer I work with for 30 minutes twice a week. On those days, I also run 30 minutes or more.

Then three additional days a week, I run at least 45 minutes and do more resistance training for 15-20 minutes.

My doctor said walking right away walk walk walk.. I started the stationary bike at 3 weeks Doctor made a great suggestion this week, 3 types of exercise at least and do them no more than 2 days a week and not in a row.. gotta switch it up so the body doesnt get used to it

I work with a trainer two days a week, 60 minute sessions -- free weights, weight machines, TRX set up and stuff like Swiss ball squats (ouchie), planks (double ouchie) and sit ups. I try to get to the gym two other days a week to do cardio but really I should be doing something six days a week. I found I like rowing quite a bit, so will start changing that up between the treadmill. Just not quite there yet. I do feel better when I work out though.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
