Gurgling stomach within minutes of eating

Recommended Posts

I'm 9 or 10 weeks out. Every so often, I will eat something and immediately my stomach starts making all these really funny sounds. Like nonstop for a long while. I just had some Soup for lunch, but I was eating the meat first. I was trying to get the carrots and peas in as well but had to stop bc my stomach was going nuts.

I'm not nauseous or anything...its just constantly burbling. I am really glad no one is around to hear it.

Anyone else have this happen?

you said - "constantly burbling. I am really glad no one is around to hear it"

actually bud, i didn't know it was you

but i heard you loud and clear!! LOL.

burping is very common PO for awhile

this happened to me too

you probably heard me too!!!!

if this is the worst thing in life - all is good

don't worry about it

many people sneeze/sniffle too

never understood that

on a regular basis, this will eventually stop

but at 4+ years it will still happen to me on occasion

48 lbs down

you are doing terrific

keep up the good job

kathy

congrats

Yes, mine does it too. I have an emptying bath tub analogy .....

Sometimes it is quite loud. Happens almost every day, I eat the recommended food, but it still gurgles away.

I guess my stomach is still healing, and I just have to wait and maybe one day it will get better .....

Annoying when in company of others though.

I sneeze lot more these days too ....

my stomach 'gurgles' too after eating. I try to look at what I've been eating and compare it to my other meals....I don't think it helps that much. I usually end up taking Gas X...I'm 11 weeks out!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
