Help I'm gaining weight
try not to worry too much....first, know that it takes time for your body to recover from the surgery and your body is still recovering at six weeks out. You may have hit a stall but I promise it will start to fall off soon. My journey was nuts in that I would stall for three weeks and then lost 10lbs in a week. Try to make sure you get your Water in, too! You won't continue to gain...just try not to compare yourself with others on the same journey. God bless!

People don't get it!
you have to do what is right for you! I too, had tried every diet and gimmick under the sun to lose weight. I have no regrets about having the sleeve last summer. I feel amazing! I am not finished but the surgery is a 'tool' that will help you to lose the weight and hopefully keep it off. Good luck and try not to listen to well meaning folks!

Yeast infection
Hi, I have been dealing with yeast infections on my tongue and under the folds of my skin where there is lots of extra skin from losing 100lbs. Are there any topical ointments I should use for the skin part. I've been taking a medicine my doctor called in for the one in my mouth...it's bothersome! thanks, Nancy

Any good WLS surgeons in Alabama, around the Birmingham area?
I used Dr Touliatos at Grandview hospital off of 280. He was great...no complications. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App

Gurgling stomach within minutes of eating
my stomach 'gurgles' too after eating. I try to look at what I've been eating and compare it to my other meals....I don't think it helps that much. I usually end up taking Gas X...I'm 11 weeks out!

It takes me 45 minutes to drink a Protein drink...no issues yet and my nutritionist hasn't said anything about drinking it all in ten minutes...she's always reminding me to sip! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App

How restricted is your sleeve?
I'm six weeks out and can only handle about 3/4 cup of food...very slowly at a time. I think it's different for a lot of us. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App

I am alone, no post op help. Anyone else been alone?
I couldn't have done it without help! I would definitely stay near my surgeon if I needed anything and was by myself...I really don't recommend you're being by yourself...if you could get a friend to help you out the first few days would be good.
