  1. I am having gastric bypass surgery on Oct. 3. There are so many times to keep up with such as drinking Water and eating, I cannot figure out how to get in all the Vitamins plus the medications I was on before surgery. Will the hospital give me a schedule before I am discharged or do I have to work it out myself? Any and all suggestions will be welcomed, I am in a panic. Thanks.
  2. Wishing you a great recovery, fantastic weight loss, and exceptionally good health. I am pre-op, so don't have any first hand knowledge about post-op. This is the place for good information and support. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I find that my sweet cravings go away when I add more Protein to my diet. Good luck, it's such a pain to want something that may not be healthy. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  5. Thanks Daisee68, I appreciate your thoughts. I am working on getting someone to help me. My children would love to help me but they are far away. I'm feeling much better with all the good advice I have received. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. Thank you, Nancydhu, I am working on it. My surgeon is 3 hours from my home and he anticipates me staying in the hospital one night. I thought I could do it alone, but the kind responses I have received have convinced me that I will need another. Thank you for you time and thoughts. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  8. Thank you, I did not think of that. I appreciate your input. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. I live alone, my children are far away, and I have no friends in my new home. I need to know what the first few days are like. I am thinking of staying in a motel for a few days after gastric bypass to be close to my surgeon. Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
