@ I also am the 31st and just completed day 3 of pre-op. Today was a little rough but day one and two not so bad . I'm so focused that I'm not nervous about the surgery anymore . How were your first 3 days ?

@ "bellabeans" the first 3 days were ok since I was at work. I'm worried about this weekend. Where are you having surgery. I'm in Atlanta.

@ smith town Long Island with new your bariatric group. I def found it a lot easier when I was at work. I still have to cook for my family . My husband is sept 7. So he is eating all his favorites now. I'm not hungry just having a hard time focusing , I feel like I'm in a fog. They say it gets easier as time goes on . Here's to day 4 !!

Day 4 has been hard. I made a veggie and fruit smoothie with Protein powder for Breakfast I had a salad and chicken for lunch. I'm trying to drink Water to keep from being hungry. We cleaned my 9 year old bead room and play room.

Then I finally sat down and we watched cupcake wars... Probably not the best idea.

Planning to have shrimp and asparagus for dinner.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
