I did not have an eating schedule. Was told to sip, sip, sip as getting in liquids was first priority in order to prevent dehydration. My plan added protien drinks on day 3 and I just sipped what I could and stopped. Week 2 was pretty much the same, just adding in thicker liquids like cream Soups, yogurt, etc.

I'm two weeks post as well. Living on Water, crystal light, Protein Shakes and a very small amount of Greek yogurt. My sleeve isn't ready for more

I'm two weeks post and eating 3 meals a day (2-3 oz). I eat cottage cheese, scrambled egg, tuna salad, roasted chicken thigh, grilled pork chop, P3s, mixed nuts, Beans. Basically any Protein rich food as instructed by my dietician. I still drink at least 80 g. of protein supplements too. Food has been going great! I'm finding my "full signals", which are pressure in my chest and cold sweats .

My plan was different, I was only on Clear Liquids one day after surgery then went to full liquids for two weeks. I only had Protein shakes and Water. I'm in week 1 of soft foods which is a 2 week phase. I eat scrambled egg, cottage cheese, puréed foods, Greek yogurt, shredded soft cheese, Soup, etc. My team doesn't want me to worry about fat content or calories for the first two months-- just focus on liquids and Protein.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
