I'm recently back on the wagon after going for nearly 2 years with bad habits but in that time I gave up smoking, too. The two combined with a less than half-full band is a recipe for fatassism, which I developed over the course of 6 or 7 months. I've buckled down, gotten 2 fills and am losing weight again but I have a problem. Going that long without getting a fill, being loose and eating whatever I wanted has made me forget how to eat the right way and I've been having a lot of problems. I'm also taking a medication that seems to tighten the band, but tomorrow is my last day taking it so I won't go so far as to get an unfill.

Unfortunately, I am very tight. There are times when Water won't go down, so I dare not try to eat my favorite foods: fish, beef, chicken, crawfish...the list goes on and on. If I don't loosen up after the medication is gone then I'm going to get .25cc's taken out - it sucks that I have an appointment scheduled for Thursday to get another fill. I don't know if I need it or not until the meds get out of my system. But I wrote all of that just to say: I really miss food and being able to eat like normal people. I love being a lower weight, but I loved food a lot too.

Maybe you can reschedule your fill appointment until after the meds are out of your system. Then you'll know if you need more or less or can stay the same.

Did U get the .25cc's removed? Did ending the meds resolve the issue?

I miss food too! Thanksgiving is the wrong time of year to be on a liquid/soft food diet

Every since I've been filled to 7.5 a month ago & the night coughs began I've lost 13lbs

I had 0.7 removed today. Hoping the coughs stop but not the weight loss

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
