I was 29 when I had the sleeve, I started at 237, I hit goal of 129 at almost exactly 18 months, I then dropped to 126 for a few months, and I am now 34 months post-op and I have maintained for the last 16 months between 129-133. At my lowest I had lost 111 pounds, as of this morning I was 132, so right now I am down 105 pounds.

I had my surgery a month before my 59th birthday and was 248 pounds. It is now 2 years later and I weigh 130. I wish I had had the surgery when I was younger, but it just wasn't my time. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Maybe I needed to live longer in my fat body to appreciate my surgery. I don't take my surgery for granted. I still log everything I eat everyday. You get out of it what you put in it.
