Anyone take the journey with their spouse ?

Recommended Posts

@@bellabeans - I know of several couples who have done this together, but usually one does it, nurses the other and then a month later the other spouse has the surgery. (Ladies always come first...always)

My husband and I are both getting band to sleeve revisions. The Dr wants to wait a month between surgeries, but we are hoping for 3 weeks. Hopefully late July and mid August. We got our approvals Friday so just playing the waiting game for our surgery dates, hoping to hear tomorrow!!

Mine is July 28 and my husband could have had his august 18th, but our son is getting married august 20 and my husband is doing the ceremony. He didn't think he would be able to perform the wedding that close after surgery so he is trying to get a later date, but not too late.

My hubby and I are both having the rny done. Since we have 2 small kids at home our surgeon recommended making our surgeries at least 6 weeks apart. I go in on July 27th so hubby will be 6 weeks later.

My spouse is planning on pursuing a sleeve, but only after I am fully recovered.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
