Eating often?
I went back and added in my drinking schedule. Between 8:15 and 12:00, I generally drink 48-72 oz. Between 1:20 and 5:00, I drink another 48-72 oz. I don't have any problems at all getting liquids in, in fact I drink 100+ oz. a day; I actually stop mid-evening so I don't have to get up and pee during the night.

When did your tastes change?
My tastes changed immediately... 2 weeks after surgery I devoured green Beans, which I previously hated. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "

Change in diet
Yeah, those are all relatively fatty. Perhaps you have developed gall stones? Eating a fatty meal and having gall stones can cause pain/nausea/vomiting. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "

Sugar free candy
Yeah, it's best just to stay away from candy. It's just going to reignite your cravings.

Who Is Your Biggest Supporter In Your WL Journey?
My spouse (who wants the sleeve as well) and my sister (who's had a bypass already).

Exercise post-op how long until treadmill can be used?
I was on the treadmill on day 5. It's just walking, not working out. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "

The chewable ones are one tablet twice daily.

What Was Your Biggest Post-Op Surprise?
I'm surprised how little I care what other people think about my weight loss or appearance. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "

Eating out
So far (6 weeks out) I've done Mexican, Chinese, and Italian out, and I've had: Mexican: chicken chimichanga, black Beans, stuffed chile relleno, fajitas, huevos rancheros Chinese: tofu, garlic green beans, chicken curry, mongolian chicken, dragon chicken rice bowl (no rice!) Italian: chicken marsala with broccoli I'm restricted for right now to no raw vegetables and no beef, pork, or lamb, so I've really only scratched the surface of what I can/will be able to eat. Follow your plan. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "

Weighing.
First thing each morning. Keeps expectations real and reminds me that surgery is a tool, not a magic wand.

When did you guys go back to work?
I was sleeved on a Tuesday, and I was ready to go back to work on the next Monday. Actually went back the Wednesday after that, since our FMLA contractors were being obtuse. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Yup. But I still do it without the name calling and expletives because I am a lady. The power of names!

Blocking
In most ways, I'm a lot like @@LipstickLady - I'm blunt and direct, and I don't pussyfoot around. I'm also logical and dispassionate (which serves me excellently in my avocation). This frequently puts me at odds with drama queens who are ruled by their feelings and little else. Oh well, tough titty. And I don't believe in personal attacks... until you attack me. Then it's gloves off, *choose your expletive*. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "
