Freaking out...just a little bit

Recommended Posts

It's Friday and surgery is Monday. Trying to remain calm and focused but I have a nervous twitch over my eye!

Which eye?

No, seriously, there's nothing wrong with nervous or a little freaking out. Keep yourself occupied at a comfortable pace (not frenzied) between now and the time you head to the hospital. Change the sheets Monday a.m. before you head out. It will give you something to do and you'll have a fresh, crisp bed if you want a nap and some relaxation once home again.

Lol my right eye. I am trying to relax and keep busy at the same time so I am just exhausted. Thanks for the Monday morning suggestion!

Get some sleep and if you can't ... just lay there and close your eyes... relax with a shower ... book a massage... anything that helps you relax.

I get an eye twitch when I am super stressed. I know it's annoying and probably causing more stress! Monday will be here before you know it and then you'll be in recovery soon after that and well on your way. Hang in there and enjoy the weekend!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
