Freaking out...just a little bit

It's Friday and surgery is Monday. Trying to remain calm and focused but I have a nervous twitch over my eye!

Which eye? No, seriously, there's nothing wrong with nervous or a little freaking out. Keep yourself occupied at a comfortable pace (not frenzied) between now and the time you head to the hospital

  • Lol my right eye. I am trying to relax and keep busy at the same time so I am just exhausted. Thanks for the Monday morning suggestion! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Get some sleep and if you can't ... just lay there and close your eyes... relax with a shower ... book a massage... anything that helps you relax.

No, seriously, there's nothing wrong with nervous or a little freaking out. Keep yourself occupied at a comfortable pace (not frenzied) between now and the time you head to the hospital. Change the sheets Monday a.m. before you head out. It will give you something to do and you'll have a fresh, crisp bed if you want a nap and some relaxation once home again.

Read this section, it has been going on for five years for a reason...it will make you laugh, cry, and think...which is a perfect thing to happen in a day. And prepare you for the changes that are coming...

I get an eye twitch when I am super stressed. I know it's annoying and probably causing more stress! Monday will be here before you know it and then you'll be in recovery soon after that and well on your way. Hang in there and enjoy the weekend!
