My last appointment for my supervised weight loss will be at the end of July so I'm looking at a sleeve date in August and would love to find some others that will be sleeved around that time as well. I think it would be awesome to keep track of each other via Facebook and have a mini support group!

I had trouble too but I found it. Here's how I found it on the mobile version of FB....

I went on my main FB feed page.

At the very top there is a search option.

Type in:BP August 2016

At the top of this search are the options Top, Latest, People... Etc.

If you keep scrolling over you will see "Groups"

Click on Groups and it pops right up.

Just heard from my insurance company -- they have approved me. Now waiting to hear from surgery scheduling. I've put in my request to the FB group. Thanks!

I am scheduled to be sleeved August 10th. This is my 1st post although I have been lurking since May. Lol. I have a question, when we state our stats do we list our HW as our heaviest weight ever or our weight at first appt with the surgeon or? I live in Kent, WA a suburb of Seattle. Excited about August 10th date, it's 5 days after my 62nd birthday.

I think you can put whichever you want. Lots of people lose weight during the process of the supervised diet and all, so not every pound lost you see on profiles is from only the surgery.

Hi there.

My surgery is set for August 16. I have a visit with the nutritionist on July 23. I am anxious but ready. I am taking vitamins, Biotine, Vitamin B12 líquid and took 2 shorts of Vitamin B12 In the Office of my regular Doctor .would love to make part of a group that is doing The Sleeve Surgery.

August 26th for me, and getting very nervous!!

Provided insurance says yes within the next 14 days, I'm a go for August 30th.

Mine is August 19th. My insurance won't cover this so it seems to have been a very short time since I made the decision to have the surgery. I started the process last week of May. I'm not sure what else I have to do before the surgery. I have a three hour appointment on August 3 where I guess I'll be told all the details.

August 19th here too. I start liquid diet August 5th
