Alcohol suggestions!

Recommended Posts

I'm getting re-banded next week- so excited. My band slipped and was removed 2yrs ago and I've gained 50lbs back. Ready for it to be back and the excess weight to go away! One major rule I broke last time was drinking soda and not waiting the specified times before and after drinking. As for the soda, I'm already thinking about what I could use to replace my beloved captain and Coke. So far I've only come up with using those crystal light packets and ordering Water and captain or vodka. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about your slippage. I heard it was caused by vomiting before the band healed into place. Is this what happened with you?

As for drinks, go get crystal light or Dasani squirters.

Order vodka on the rocks and a glass of Water on the side. Squirt some flavor into the vodka and you can add Water. It will make a delicious drink that has very few calories. 1 oz of vodka only has 64 calories. Do not be tempted to do vodka and cranberry. Too much sugar. You could also order a rum on the rocks. Same 64 calories per oz. Then get the pineapple coconut flavor and you have a 64 calorie pina colada. They are great. Cary the squirter around with you.

Don't mix with pain meds. We don't want you to do a Prince. Let me know how it works.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
