Maybe your body is telling you it needs more time before that particular activity

I don't know that I've ever seen that as a side effect of surgery

HOWEVER, there are a lot of crazy hormones post surgery and hormones play a huge effect. Next time have some ky on hand or coconut oil to help things along. I'd say if it was just an issue of dryness that should help make things more normal.

Very dry. No matter what we did, didn't help. I'll look into a good lubricant, maybe it is my hormones, could it be dehydration? (Seems crazy to me but ya never know.)

I can't answer that because had my husband tried any monkey business that soon after surgery the only thing that would have hurt would have been his face and pride. Ummmm NO! I'd say give it some more healing time. Your brain may say yes but even your vajaja is like "hell to the NO!" I'd listen to your body!

Yeah this happened to my husband and I. I am 3 weeks post gastric sleeve... Once we started having sex, it hurt, the deeper he went. Never had that problem prior to surgery. I have no problem with dryness. I figured either I had to poop, or my intestines were still swollen on top of my uterus and cervix area. My incisions do not hurt, and are almost healed. You can barely see them. Told hubby, we need to give it a few more weeks...

Maybe you have a yeast infection. Seriously...when we change so much up from our norm our bodies take a hit. Our immune systems do too.

I say this from personal experience. I never ever had a yeast infection my entire life. Until march. And again april. I went in and saw my gyn. She said my immune system is low.

Its probably a mix between dehydration and hormones. I know after a rough night of drinking - me hungover and dehydrated, and him ready to go like a dog in heat in the morning, my body says no no no - get off me. Haven't tried it yet after the sleeve, but if I was you I would put it on hold, or just grab some lube and have a try at it again. Also yeast infection is very possible, I started to have one, but thankfully it passed without needing attention.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
