  7. I am seven months into Crossfit and 8 months post sleeve. I am down 155 pounds and am in the shape of my life. I look amazingly athletic and attribute Crossfit to keeping me from being skinny fat. The community and culture is uplifting and with a good box they will scale to our abilities and make it fun! It has been an important of a tool for me as the sleeve has. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  15. I was 405 the day of surgery. I'm 38 and was a full scholarship Division 1 football player in the 90's. I was always in great shape but my significant weight gain started after I had three hip replacements on the same hip a couple years ago. I was non weight bearing for several months and gained significant weight throughout the recovery. I am also 6'3 and have quite a bit of muscle mass! I walked for at least an hour a day starting the day after surgery and started working out hard three weeks ago. I am working on losing weight and getting my hips back in shape at the same time. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. I was sleeved 3/4. I walked only for the first three weeks and am now starting my third week back at cross fit. I've been feeling good with no pain. My only struggle has been getting more than 100 grams of Protein in. I am down 50 pounds since my surgery date. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  19. Hi all, I was sleeved 3/4 and am down 35 pounds as of today! I was cleared to start back at the gym this week. I started working with a trainer and it has been pretty intense. I am getting about 100 grams of Protein a day. And totaling about 800 calories. I am trying to get in with my nut for recommendations but she is scheduled way out. Any advice or experience with this? 21. The LINX procedure is an excellent option. There is going to be a paper coming out soon that discusses this in post sleeve patients. My wife is a Thoracic surgeon and has implanted a 100 of these devices with no complications. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
