@@UsernameTaken yay so happy for you. I'm also revision from band to bypass. My surgery is May 6th so you aren't too far behind me. We should definitely keep in touch since we are going through the same exact thing. Please let me know how everything goes and message me anytime if you want to talk more.

I have been on a liquid only diet since Monday. For me, it isn't super great but I am not really hungry, just more so miss solid food. I will never take a chicken breast for granted again. Lol and I am dreaming about food, the other night I dreamed I kept eating food and spitting it out after I realized I am not supposed to be eating it. My pre-op is this Monday and then surgery the Monday after that, so looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life!

@@UsernameTaken and @@Heatherg0907 I am going through the same. I'm hoping to be at the end of May. I'm interested to see how you guys do "in real time". I've seen a lot of band to sleeve but not as many band to bypass.

@@Doc'sWife Wow I guess there are more people than I thought going through this. I have a lot of anxiety about this just because the lap band didn't work out for me but at the same time I can't wait to start this new life. I'm going to put everything I have into making this work for me. Good luck to you and we should definitely keep in touch, I would love to have someone to talk to that knows what I'm going through.

Glad to share same path with you two. There are definitely more out there like us, i was very happy to find out I was not alone.

I am supposed to start liquid diet on Thursday, not looking forward to it but needs to be done. I am also nervous, I will be having 3 in one surgeries, removal, bypass and gallbladder removal, so hope it all goes well and in one and without complications. Will update :)

It is good to know there is a big support system out there for band to bypass. Good luck with the 3 in 1. That sounds rough.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
