How to deal with loose skin "down there"? Ladies only maybe

Recommended Posts

Was just wondering if there is anyone out there that has saggy, loose, flabby skin on their genitals (pubis) after loosing all the weight. My weight loss is slow going and whatnot, but I am still down over 100lbs. from my highest and am now noticing this. I was ready and expecting the loose saggy skin everywhere else...so I have no idea why I didn;t for this area?!? lol Is there even any exercises to do for this area...it's not like it's muscle under it or anything? Just flab....and is there anyone else out there dealing with this? Am I alone here? LOL

Thanks, Val

Yup, just like dust, fat gets in everywhere.

I doubt that there is any exercise for a sad vulva, but there is reconstructive surgery. The procedure is one of the many miracles that plastic & reconstructive surgeons perform. I've known of a couple of women who went that route after they'd been at goal for a while and were very happy with the results. I don't recall whether either combined the procedure with another or if it's advisable to do so. One reported that her down there looked like the down there of a teenager. Not too shabby, huh?

Per the testimonies of many who've had tummy tucks -- this can get fixed as part of that procedure.

ok, never even thought about it as a part of the plastic surgery add ons :) I already have my surgeon picked out for when the time comes...Thanks everyone! Any clue as to what the procedure is called?

I think it's just a pubis lift.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
