surgery on Monday 2/29

Recommended Posts

Well I've been quite calm for some reason during most of this long process, now the nerves are starting to kick in... Not sure why but they are.. I think it's more that I'm wondering how I'm going to feel inside... Does a full stomach feel like being full... Drinking sips vs gulping after you work out.. That kinda stuff.. Idk..

It's normal to get nervous, you will do great. It's different but nothing life shattering. You will get in the hang of it quick.

It's indescribable how you're going to feel, but trust me you'll catch on quickly. You're going to do great. At first I was extra careful till I felt a little more comfortable with me new body and I would probably suggest the same.

Good luck and best wishes. My surgery is tomorrow!! Can't believe it's finally here. Not nervous yet. Still kinda surreal. I'm sure my nerves will kick in about the time I'm getting to put my lovely hospital gown on. Lol. Hope you all do well. Praying for fast recovery and minimal pain. See y'all on the losers bench.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
