Hi Everyone,

So I am 6 months post op VSG. Doing really well, but noticed some Hair loss. THANKFULLY, I have thick hair and it is just thinning, but I need a haircut and color/highlights. Any recommendations? Leave it as it is or get it done. Thanks in advance!

Got my hair done on Friday and hairdresser agreed that I have lost 1/3 to 1/2 of my hair. Where I have been using the Monat there is already new hair growing in (baby fine). We took a pic of another area that was badly thinned and I am going to start applying the Monat spray directly to that area and we will take pix again next time I go in to see how much new growth has developed. My NUT also recommended increasing my Protein intake from 65g to 80g and I am already seeing less hair in my brush.

2 years post op gastric sleeve and Hair loss was one of the biggest drawbacks for me. I was so embarrassed of my thin hair, but I have lost 100 lbs so felt that was worth it. I have started using Monat products and love them so much and have seen such a difference in my hair and those around me that I decided to join Monat and become a distributor. If any of you guys have any questions regarding the products or you already know you want to try the products and do not know where to order you can email me at srogers3085@yahoo.com or visit my my website to order the products www.suzannerogersMONAT.mymonat.com. I would love to hear from you guys who have experienced hair loss after bariatric surgery. I know a big help has been supplements, Monat carries a supplement called S3, it helps to provide nutritional supplementation that we might be missing in our meals being only able to eat such small amounts. Anyways, I'm new to this blog and just thought I'd reach out!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
