Slow going but still losing
I was sleeved 11/11/15 and am down 80# from my heaviest weight. At 184.8 I am still considered "obese" according to BMI. I'm 5'5" so when I get to 180 I will officially be just "overweight". Then it's another 30# to go to be I. The "normal" category. I worry that will be much too thin but for now am glad to still be losing (even slowly).

48 yo. Sleeved 11/11/15. HW 265. CW 195. GW 145. Very happy with my results which include no pain when walking down stairs, off bp meds, exercising 4-5 days a week, no asthma, look and feel younger.

Hair
Got my hair done on Friday and hairdresser agreed that I have lost 1/3 to 1/2 of my hair. Where I have been using the Monat there is already new hair growing in (baby fine). We took a pic of another area that was badly thinned and I am going to start applying the Monat spray directly to that area and we will take pix again next time I go in to see how much new growth has developed. My NUT also recommended increasing my protein intake from 65g to 80g and I am already seeing less hair in my brush.

Struggling!
Oops. Replied on wrong post.

Compromising too soon
Update: I went to a support group meeting and met with my psychologist and am back on track. Due to some hair loss and the weird intense cravings, she recommended I increase my protein intake from 65g to 80g per day (as well as get my water in). I did this and within a week the cravings subsided completely and I am now under 200 lbs for the first time in many, many years. Thank you all for your support.

Struggling!
I start to gain when I am not drinking enough water. If you are able to do soft foods, then adding unsweetened applesauce to your diet will help with water retention but you need to be sure you are increasing your water intake. This was one of the hardest things for me (and still is)
