Hair

Hi Everyone,

So I am 6 months post op VSG. Doing really well, but noticed some hair loss. THANKFULLY, I have thick hair and it is just thinning, but I need a haircut and color/highlights. Any recommendations? Leave it as it is or get it done. Thanks in advance!

Got my hair done on Friday and hairdresser agreed that I have lost 1/3 to 1/2 of my hair. Where I have been using the Monat there is already new hair growing in (baby fine). We took a pic of another area that was badly thinned and I am going to start applying the Monat spray directly to that area and we will take pix again next time I go in to see how much new growth has developed. My NUT also recommended increasing my protein intake from 65g to 80g and I am already seeing less hair in my brush.

2 years post op gastric sleeve and hair loss was one of the biggest drawbacks for me. I was so embarrassed of my thin hair, but I have lost 100 lbs so felt that was worth it. I have started using Monat products and love them so much and have seen such a difference in my hair and those around me that I decided to join Monat and become a distributor. If any of you guys have any questions regarding the products or you already know you want to try the products and do not know where to order you can email me at srogers3085@yahoo.com or visit my my website to order the products www.suzannerogersMONAT.mymonat.com. I would love to hear from you guys who have experienced hair loss after bariatric surgery. I know a big help has been supplements, Monat carries a supplement called S3, it helps to provide nutritional supplementation that we might be missing in our meals being only able to eat such small amounts. Anyways, I'm new to this blog and just thought I'd reach out!
