Anyone sleeved on 2/8/16 want to stay connected?

Jeanette no worries for not responding

I am doing pretty well overall, currently on the soft food stage and down about 27 since surgery and 46 since the pre-op diet

I too at times get a stuck feeling but I believe it's my full sign, when I have the feeling I will stick a couple of dissolvable gas x strips on my tongue and it seems to help

Hi y'all, I to was sleeved on the 8th. Female, 39 yrs old, HW 263 CW 232 GW 140. I've had no issues what so ever and really thought my Dr didn't do the procedure. It wasn't until I was in week 3 post-op and I tried cottage cheese for the first time that I felt my restriction. I literally said out loud "Oh there it is!" My husband thought I was crazy for talking to myself. I've had regrets usually around dinner time with my family, I am terribly uncomfortable with the compliments and the whole reason I did this was to be healthier, which I am. I am currently off all pre-op meds and my CPAP only one month out. Even if I didn't lose another pound I'd call it a success just to be off medication.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
