Recommended Posts

Hey Everyone! Has anyone ever experience extreme fatigue at this point? I have literally fell asleep at my desk which is not like me at all! I find myself drinking a cup of coffee everyday for the last week trying to stay awake. Any ideas?

Are you getting in your 64 oz. of Water? How about your 80-100 grams of Protein? Are you hitting 800-1000 calories per day? How many carbs are you getting? Are you walking 3 miles or so a day? How about exercise?

What are you doing, other than falling asleep at work?

Are you getting a good 8+hours of sleep a night?

Are you exercising?

Are you drinking at least 64 oz of non-caffeinated Fluid a day?

Are you reaching your Protein target?

Are you taking all of your Vitamins and supplements as recommended?

Are you avoiding starches and added sugar?

Without more information, all I could do is guess.

Some days I am more drained than others. I have not, however, fallen asleep at work. I usually just crash around 9 pm on those days though. Make sure you are getting in your Protein and calories and fluids. About 3 months in, I wasn't losing any weight. My NUT advised me to add some carbs to my diet. You may need some healthy carbs.

I agree. Maybe you and your NUT need to have a conversation and "revamp and tweek" your diet/exercise regime.

It might be something as simple as lack of sunshine. A lot of people get fatigued this time of year. Seasonal depression.

Please, feel better and keep us posted. We care.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
