I had my surgery last Thursday 12/10. Honestly for me the procedure itself was ok & I also had a hernia repair also. Truly the worst part of it was having that darn IV pole attached to me every time I wanted to get up and walk. Stay positive & go into it knowing you chose a great Dr and you'll do great. Congratulations! This must be very exciting for you !! If all goes as planned I am expected to go into surgery around mid February! Although I am not quite where you are at yet I can tell you this..Being nervous is perfectly normal and you should be so proud of yourself for taking this big step towards a healthier you! Everything you have been working so hard for is finally coming together and there's nothing wrong with a few butterflies You will be just fine if you stay focused on the goal!! Congrats to you!
