Question: problem keeping up with "followed" topics

Recommended Posts

I opted out of emailed notices of new posts in topics I follow to avoid the frequent duplications. I expected that I'd find new posts in those topics by clicking the "New Content" tab. New posts are added to all those topics, but "new content" shows me very few of them. That is, the same few reliably appear in "new content," while most never do.

Can this be remedied? Is there something I need to do to remedy it? I checked my subscription list and it's not a matter of my being mistaken as to my "follows."

Anyone?

I just click on the notifications icon at the top of the screen next to logout.

If you click on your name you see several options...choose."content I follow" which will list all threads you have posted in unless you choose to unfollow.

@@magtart -- I do click the notifications drop-down when a red number appears. I find only "someone liked a post,," "someone mentioned you," and "someone commented on your status." ......

Ooooh, eureka! You made me brave to click "options" at the little notifications tab up there and I fell into the "nofitication options" screen. I clicked a couple of things and should be alright from here on.

@@CowgirlJane -- That's what I've been doing as an interim solution, expecting that there'd be a perm solution.

Thank you kindly, both.

Don't know if you'll see this. The blue "best answer" box may submerge it.

I looked at Notifications Preferences page again and may have found my solution. I've now checked an additional box Can't remember its description, something about 'topics in followed forums.' I had checked 'replies to followed topics' earlier, but it went nowhere.

Update over. Thank you.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
