Male Before and After Pictures

Recommended Posts

Been making small increases in my weights and calories and I am noticing some my results:

attachment=61074:IMG_20160401_130940~01-01.jpeg]

I'm getting about 1700 calories, eating very clean, and staying active. Lots of cardio with heart rate between 120 & 160.

The thing that I am happiest about is the lack of post workout pain. I like to think that it is because for the first time in my life, I am making long term goals instead of trying to bulk up as fast as possible. I'm taking special care to pay attention to my form and how my body is reacting to my regimen. I am also doing yoga regularly. After punishing my muscles with weights, deep stretches help with the recovery.

Oh, I also want to point out something before anyone freaks out. Yes that big black dot that looks like a 2nd navel is a scar from the surgery. I had a huge hematoma. That is what caused that, most people don't have that kind of scarring. They way I see it, I have so many scars from the car accident that almost killed me, I can just tell people thats what that one is from.

@@BigViffer, I didn't even notice. Thought it was just matted hair. Great results!

Thanks so much for posting what you each of you has been doing. Not only is it a big inspiration for someone like me that is only about 5 months out, but it is really informative. It is a big help.

This is me. I'm now starting to appreciate my progress so far, yet know I still have a long way to go before I'm satisfied with myself. Of course the long picture is current as of 6 days ago. I'm right at around 250lbs at 6'5. The upper right pictures was me at my absolute heaviest weight. Again that was about 598lbs and about 9 years ago. The bottom left picture was about a month post surgery. It hard to tell in that picture, but I was down 130lbs from my heaviest weight. So the journey continues, but seeing these pictures keep me motivated to continue.

      I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
