Male Before and After Pictures

Recommended Posts

Finding Before and After Pictures of men is proving difficult as the main forum is mainly women. I think we men should share some success photos here in the guys forum. I will share as soon as I have some results. Surgery in 1 month! I need some inspiration.

I have a side-by-side headshot somewhere on my profile that probably rates a mention..

It's a six month 'so far' kinda thing but the changes are quite dramatic...

I'm on my 7th day post op so it's going to be a while before I get any new progress pics.

I did have a 120 lb loss on my last weight loss push a few years back. There are pics of that in my profile.

Sadly....I let a surgery and some developing ailments to be excuses to being active and gained most of it back.

I'm grateful that the sleeve surgery was a success and I'm on the mend. My ailments will all be "healable" and I'll be feeling much younger by my next birthday in 11 months.

Hugely grateful.

You fool! A male only picture thread?! This forum can't repel testosterone of that magnitude! All the women are going to start creeping this thread looking for their daily dose of beefcake. :P

I actually do like the idea of a Men's Picture thread. On the others it tends to turn into "Here is my new outfit and latest duckface pic" I am 2lbs away from my first goal. I will post my first picture here for that occasion!

@@BigViffer - I have total belief that the women of this site are not going to get bent out of shape over this...

Testing, testing, can a woman post here? Invasion pending.

Rats, I have to find out how this "multi quote" thing works. Maybe I'll be back. Unless you say "No." I'll respect that and will also unfollow the topic.

@@Mjdld - It's your thread, your call IMHO (NOTE: the lady was polite enough to ask) :)

Gentlemen, after posting earlier, I ran it by other people and have decided to withdraw from your topic, leave you t your discussion and unfollow the topic.

But I think that before & after pics are a great idea. Nothing wrong with a boast about a super accomplishment and, at the same time, encourage people who are at earlier stages of their journeys.

Best to all you. Adieu.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
