I had my Sleeve surgery on 9/10/15. So far I am so uncomfortable. The 1st week, I was so bloated. My intake on Water and Protein Shakes weren't good at all. I always felt full. I had to make myself sip, sip, sip so I wouldn't dehydrate. Did anyone feel the spasms sensation in stomach? Its not as bad now ( in 4th week)...I just feel sore and uncomfortable. Ready to feel better...

Hang in there... It will get better. Each week gets a little easier until all of this post-op stuff starts to become a distant memory. I promise! Be sure to eat slowly and don't over eat to prevent the stomach spasms. Best of luck.

I also wanted to say that for constipation the hands down best thing I used was "Smooth Move Tea" You can buy it in the grocery store. If you drink a half cup before bed each night it will help. It also counts as liquid so that's a bonus. I tried a bunch of other stuff before someone here on Bariatricpal recommended this, and nothing worked.. this is the best.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
