4 Weeks Post Op

I had my Sleeve surgery on 9/10/15. So far I am so uncomfortable. The 1st week, I was so bloated. My intake on Water and Protein shakes weren't good at all. I always felt full. I had to make myself sip, sip, sip so I wouldn't dehydrate. Did anyone feel the spasms sensation in stomach? Its not as bad now ( in 4th week)...I just feel sore and uncomfortable. Ready to feel better...

My surgery was done on the 8th. I'm do uncomfortable now I'm dealing with constipation. I'm still not getting all my fluids in. The protein have me feeling do full. I just seen the doctor today. He cleared me to exercise... Hope that makes me feel better. I pray that you feel better as well.

Hang in there... It will get better. Each week gets a little easier until all of this post-op stuff starts to become a distant memory. I promise! Be sure to eat slowly and don't over eat to prevent the stomach spasms. Best of luck.

I also wanted to say that for constipation the hands down best thing I used was "Smooth Move Tea" You can buy it in the grocery store. If you drink a half cup before bed each night it will help. It also counts as liquid so that's a bonus. I tried a bunch of other stuff before someone here on Bariatricpal recommended this, and nothing worked.. this is the best.
