Any Oct 2014 sleevers?

Recommended Posts

Its approaching 1 year post op, how are you guys doing???

I need some input because after my 6 months everything slowed down.....I've slacked off tremendously, no exercise, no Protein shakes, no Vitamins, no healthy eating, no nothing ive been in a bliss for 5 months, even tho I haven't gained any weight, I haven't loss any either.

So as of September 1st I started from scratch, 3 days of liquid diet 3 days of pureed foods and started back going to the gym and focused on my Protein Shakes instead of grazing all day, so far 10 days out I've lost 3 pounds...its a start in the right direction. My overall goal is to be a healthy 150 I'll even be happy at 160...I'm currently 182.5 so I know I can do this! I just want to know have any of you made your goal weight as we are 1 year post op!?

It's the same with me. Lost about 65 lbs so far which I'm thrilled with but just been stuck for about the last three months. Noticed about that 6 month mark I started feeling a little more hungry also. Getting busy again this month tho with the exercise and focusing on that Protein and Water so hopefully like you I'll see that 150 mark :) we got this!

Hi all, i had my revision band to sleeve surgery 13th oct 2014. I have lost 150lbs (yes a whole person) as of last week however i have a fair way to go. I am happy with what i have achieved to date. I walk almost 14 klm (8.7 miles) a day 5 days a week! I wont ever be able to run as i developed OA on both knees prior to wls surgery. Im alive, and enjoying life ????. When i get a bit more confidence ill post before and after pictures.

Best wishes to you all xox

I had my surgery out 29th 2014 I started out at 241 and I'm not 185. After about 6 months the weight loss was much slower and I've been stuck at plateaus. I'll go down 3lbs then up 3lbs etc.. My goal is 150 but I'm worried that now I'm almost a year out my goal seems impossible... Everyone tells me how good I look but I'm not seeing it. I feel like my stomach hasn't changed the only change I have noticed is my butt and boobs are smaller those 2 areas I didn't really care if I lost it's more so my stomach, arms, and thighs. Arms seem to be the hardest and I hate that they are flabby. I'm not going to be doing any plastics so I'm trying to find ways to tone up these specific areas.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
