Does anyone in Wisconsin know. How the approval process works. If you have state insurance. I currently am covered under children's community health. But I was considering. Switching to BcBs or United Health.

I just had surgery and I was covered with children's COMUNITY ... DO Not change the only thing you need with them is to have a high bmi that is it you don't have to have co-morbidities nothing just have a bmi over I believe it's 40 6 months supervised diet with primary and nutritionist and that's it ! If you have all that done u are approved it usually takes them 8 days to let you know your approved if not sooner! Good luck I am 7 weeks out 55lbs down so far and so excited about how this is working out for me!

Thanks Vicky! I am new to this process and had no idea of how it worked. Do you live here in Wisconsin?

@@chasingchloee, Everything went well! I likely could have gone home the next day, but I asked to stay because I was going home alone. It was smooth sailing. Good luck to you!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
