Bloomer, I am at work again. Started back on Saturday for 4 hours then worked yesterday for almost 5 hours. It was all good. It's been kind of hassle though because I get hungry while at work n I feel like I'm starving so I'm gonna have to start carrying stuff with me. I always have Water. I'm down to 243.8 now which is good. I'm also down a pants size. 22s now. I'm pretty excited on that part.

Bloomer, did you add me on fb by chance too? As weird as that sounds lol. I think you did awhile back. I can add you to the fb gastric sleeve page. I love it.

I am 1 month post op today! Weighing myself later. I have lost 2 pounds already this week. I was 242.8 earlier. We will see. I have progress pics but don't know how to put it up on here.

@@MollyF22 we are FB friends. I am also on the gastric sleeve page. I've seen your post on there ....lol. On FB I'm Lisa Poe Bloomer. Good job on the weight loss. Are you still on liquids or have you moved to puréed? Can you believe it's been a month already?

I am leaving for FL today (not Disney yet) and can't wait to get to the beach. This is the last time I'll ever be this big at the beach. Hopefully the sunshine will increase my Vitamin D levels. The beach is my happy place.

Be sure and post your loss after you weigh.

I figured you did add me and that was you. I'm glad you have me on there though. I am so jealous that your gonna be in Florida and on the beach. Where are you going? I am supposed to start the purees tommrow but I've been eating actual foods. The liquids aren't keeping me full at all. I don't think milk settles with me that good so cream of Soups aren't good for my stomach. I've been doing smoothies and I've been eating some fruits. I've been having lactose free yogurt too. Even though that has milk, it's low fat and barely in there. I've actually tried chilli too. lunch meat and cheese. Everything is sitting with me. It was hard at first because I need to learn to eat smaller bites. I've been in a funk the last couple days where I don't really want food. It's bad for me not to follow the diet we are on but if I'm hungry and can't get full on liquids, then I'm gonna try new things.

I am at 241 exactly today. So I've lost 15 pounds within this month and with the 10 pounds lost on pre op diet would make 25 pounds all together. Me working and walking more is definitely helping.

@@Tssiemer1 not to be a Debbie Downer but the date they submitted for precert for me (3/20) did not end up being the surgery day. Did you already do the pre-op nutrition class and anesthesiologist appt?

Great job Perk!

Tssiemer, that's so great that you have surgery scheduled and your approved! Your guys surgeries will be here before you know it. It's gonna seem like forever but with the appointments you need before, will help time go by a bit. I'm happy everyone is having everything moving along. I'm ready for you guys to have surgery so I have more in common lol. I'm doing okay too still. Down to 239 now. So I've lost like 10 pounds since my 1st post op appointment. It seems like UC is so backed up though. I had to have my 6 week check up with Ivan moved and they couldn't even find an appointment for me to see him again so I have to see the main nurse.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
