Im coming in late to this, but sending big hugs and prayers to both of you !!!

My mom had colon cancer years ago, she did very well after surgery. Im trying to remember what we had for her eat/ drink to gain weight and be healthy. I remember a Magic Bullet, Protein Powder to make drinks, and Mannatech products. (Google Mannatech.com for more info ) Thinking of you both !! Sending good katma your way !

Thank you, Lord, for the answered prayers and strength for Jenifer and Dave!!! Continue to be with them every moment of every day, giving them strength for this journey and your peace that passes all understanding. You know everything they need as they plan and prepare for Dave's surgery. As we continue to pray without ceasing for this couple.......

You guys are THE BEST!!!!!! Sometimes I get so down, thinking of the "what if's", then there you are again and pick me up off the floor! What would I do without you? Sometimes the "scaries" get the better of me, as they did this afternoon, then I come back to this site, just to see what's going on, and it's as if you READ MY MIND and make it all better! I couldn't ask for more, and I CERTAINLY HAVE THE BEST!!!! And in case you didn't get it from my HIGHLY dramatized cap-lock wonders...I LOVE YOU LOTS!!!!! God bless all of you, and more updates as we know more......October 7th is not far away......

P.S. Dave is doing great being off the chemo for a month now, back to his jolly old self, and up to NO GOOD by always smacking my backside EVERY time he walks by me.....the chemo???? Or not????!!! All I know is it is sore, and will get a BRIEF vacation once the surgery is done! A little fatigue remains, but otherwise he feels great, and I am SOOOO thankful I cannot say.....have a great evening, all.......

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
