I have wanted to get back in a kyak after about 20 years. Today I did it, I went to the bay rented a kyak and off I went. I was scared but i did it. Whoop whoot. Then later I was coming out of a store and my daughter was going in she didn't recognize me..lol..

Good for you!!

I actually walked by a mirror in a department store and sort of jumped away because i thought it was someone else about to bump into me. I dont even recognize myself.

This is confusing. Can you explain that a little further? Typically we have lost a significant percentage of weight before we become unrecognizable to somebody that close to us. It is hard to believe you haven't had any scale success.

I have lost 65 pounds from the start of this journey 6 months ago. I have not seen my daughter in 4 months. ( that's a whole nother story) I said hey you she looked up and said wow you look great, I just walked right by you.

The title should of read non scale success (not no scale) sorry for the confusion.

I use to get all dressed up and think I looked great only to walk by a window and say who the heck is that I'm not that big it would ruin the rest of my day.. now as I walk up to a glass door I think well you r looking pretty healthy there girl. Lol to you Steve that's funny congrats to you.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
