Wow that's some extream jealousy. What do u do? I'm amazed your coworkers are so childish.

For the most part I've had encouragement from my coworkers. With the exception of one woman. She started "tatting" on me to my boss. I use my breaks at work to walk around the neighborhood. She told my boss that I took too long on my break and then told my boss I took 3 walks one day. It was funny tho cause my boss asked how many walks I took one day and I flat out told her 3.... my two normal ones on my morning break and afternoon break. And I added one during my lunch break (which I clocked out for). My boss laughed. She wasn't upset anyways. I surpass my coworkers in the work I get done and she thinks it's great I'm losing weight. I know this girl is just jealous, but it really bothers me that she's trying to get me in trouble.

I guess it's just the price we pay

You don't need to pay ANY price. Sounds like she's doing herself in!

Writing "hore" on your car is beyond catty over weight loss. Are you sure there isn't some underlying issue or incident?

All of us have gone through getting alot of attention post massive weight loss, I had a few intense experiences over it as it was alot of attention that I wasn't used to. (Still get attention but it is just background now don't notice it). You do get people who can be insecure and feel threatened but what you describe seems too much.

Years ago I had someone HATE me for no reason I could fathom, reported me to HR etc. They investigated and determined she was mentally unbalanced and had just picked me as the random target.

Bitches they be crazy. Truly. Some of them really are.

You do know that they're harassing you, don't you? Next time something like this happens, go get Security and let them take photographs. Then file a complaint with your HR department.

Don't make a fuss yourself. Just quietly do those things.

Then step back and watch what happens.

;)

I know for a fact it is due to my weight loss in fact a few months out from my surgery they set Donuts near my desk claiming they were for everyone but they sent them by my desk.... it just feels so surreal to be realizing that it could happen at such an adult age I donot acknowledge anything never even responded but yesterday I felt like was drawn when my kids saw my car ..... I have a real feeling it is one of the ladies that really flirts with the security staff because every time I walk in the door the security staff makes comments on how hot I am and how much I look better every day however I never acknowledge it I just show my security badge and keep walking the ladies sit by their death just to talk to them so I'm sure they're probably mad that while they are talking to them the men are talking about me I just don't feel like I want any hate I do not even flirt back I literally show my badge and keep walking

Many years ago I lost 85# on weight watchers. My start weight was 332# and at 5'5" I was very big and certainly no "threat" to anyone before, during or after my weight loss. My boss was a food pusher and always brought candy, donuts, treats for the whole team. We had "words" over the fact that she insisted on using the file cabinets right outside my office (line sight view from my desk) as the candy station. All day long I watched people stop, unwrap a chocolate and eat it. Or open the donut box and dive for a good one. It drove me insane. When i asked her to move it her reaction was I just needed to "get over it". She did eventually move it but it actually caused a small riff in our relationship.

BTW, she was about 100# overweight - not as big as me, but obese. I finally got her to move that bowl and to this day I don't understand why #1 she feels so compelled to push food and #2 why the location of the bowl mattered.

I was literally fighting for my life as I could barely move at that size - again that clearly had nothing to do with competition over male attention.

Some people are just odd... or have motives that I really don't understand.

What I will say is that people who are teased, belittled or "shamed" as part of their weight loss should consider it as harrassment and treat it as such. I think it creates a terribly uncomfortable workplace.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
