Calories a day 3 months out

Recommended Posts

3 months out and just the past couple days it seams I can eat much more. I've gone from 900 to 1000 cals. A day to 1200 to 1300. Is this where I should be. I'm 6'1 252 lbs. Male. Surgery wt was 309 my heaviest 329.

First questions would be are you getting in all of your Protein and Water each day? How do you feel? What does your nutritionist say? Are you exercising too?

Sounds good to me. At 3 months out I was under 200 pounds and averaging 800 calories and 75 grams of Protein a day.

I ramped up to 1,000 cals / 85 grams of Protein a day at Month 5.

I can't tell what's good because I'm not a man. I am almost six months out and I still get under 800 a day. No troubles from that, I get plenty of Protein and fluids and I can run a 10k.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
