Hi! I am about 3.5 weeks post op and doing well! I am just concerned about my hunger/fullness. I am eating like every 3hrs and am truly hungry at that time. I begin to feel nauseous and stomach growls etc... I'll have say 1/3 cup of cottage cheese or a few bites of chicken salad. Is this normal? I sometimes feel or question if I'm eating too much? And wonder if this hunger is normal. I see so many posts where ppl say they have absolute no hunger. Thanks!!

I'm almost 2 weeks out and wonder if I'm eating enough. I eat 3 times daily, getting about 400 calories and 70 grams of Protein. Thinking of increasing the frequency due to hunger. And when I get hungry all I want is a cheesesteak.

How much do you eat?

Hi! Well I have been having a whole Greek yogurt in the am, then like 1/3 cup of cottage cheese, then a few hrs later 2 tbsp of chicken salad, then a cheese stick then finally a meatball? That's what I had today-I just feel like that's a lot for 3 weeks out? And it fills me up but no lie 2hrs later and I'm hungry :-/

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
